Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the subject structure and method in which a specific consolidation type cutting edge of box shape and monolithic construction is drawn by consolidation at a time in underground lateral direction thereby to attempt to consolidate and reinforce peripheral ground and completely cut off water. CONSTITUTION:The subject structure is constructed by combined bonding of a water cut-off member 2 of a monolithic construction forming the outer peripheral part excluding the upper part of a box shape and consisting of steel plates, and an underground plate using a grout material having a thickness. The water cut-off member 2 using a steel plate at said outer peripheral part is welded and bonded to the rear part of the monolithic box-shaped, consolidation-type specific cutting edge 1, and after the cut-off member 2 is drawn by consolidation and inserted in the ground in the lateral direction, said underground plate 4 at the upper part laid by gradually injecting and placing the grout material in a clearance created in accordance with the consolidation drawing of the box-shaped, consolidation-type specific cutting edge 1, thus an underground water cut-off structure being constituted.
