Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a sun screening cosmetic mixed with ultrafine particles of plasma-synthesized titanium oxide capable of simultaneously screening both ultraviolet light ranges of UV-B zone and UV-A zone without using an organic ultraviolet absorber, having low radical reactivity.
CONSTITUTION: A sun screening cosmetic comprises ultrafine particles of titanium oxide obtained by oxidizing metal titanium powder mixed with a very small amount of ≥20mg/Kg and ≤200mg/Kg of iron in plasma, having screening properties to ultraviolet light in a wavelength range of 250-410 nanometer, a cosmetic composed of water, an oil or an emulsion and powder as a base constituted without using an organic ultraviolet absorber.
