Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decrease an installation area and to eliminate the need for undercut of quicklime particles by providing three-dimensionally a scraper type discharger, a moving bed conveyor, etc. and making the layer of the quicklime particles for removing HCl, SOX movable.

CONSTITUTION: A titled device consists of a waste gas chamber 5 provided between an incineration furnace 1 and an electrical dust precipitator and waste gas ducts 3, 4 connecting the furnace 1 to the precipitator 2 and the chamber 5. An endless moving bed conveyor 8 which is rotated and moved by a sprocket 6 is provided in said chamber 5, and is moved at the speed at which a layer 7 of quicklime particles can be controlled. A scraper type discharging device 10 is provided to discharge the reaction product, the unreacted quicklime and dust. The waste gas from the furnace 1 is passed through the duct 8, the wide space 11 between the conveyor 8 and the device 10, the layer 7, the wide space 12 on the upper side of the layer 7, and the duct 4 in this order, whereafter the gas is introduced into the precipitator 2 and the HCl and SOX in the waste gas are removed.
