Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the safeness of a plant by displaying information related to the quarity of the value of process volume together with the value of the process quantity. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed detector is arranged at each supervising input point to supervise the status of the process in each part of a power plant 1 and these detectors are periodically scanned successively by an input device 2 specified from an input scanning means 3. Together with a value (v) obtained by scanning the detectors by the indication from the input device 2 and the input scanning means 3 and converting the scanned value (process signal variable) into a digital variable, the status of the process hardware at the time of scanning and the status S of the detectors are outputted to the input scanning means 3. The input scanning means 3 converts the scanned value (v) outputted from the input device 2 into a process quantity V expressed by engineering unit and outputs the converted value to a storage device 5. Simultaneously, the means 3 outputs the status of the process hardware at the time of scanning and the status S of the detectors are outputted to a quarity handling means 4 together with the process quantity V.
