CONSTITUTION: An electorde wire is composed of brass of brass alloy on which cold working is performed by not less than 75% and which is annealed at a temperature of 300°C to 320°C and whose weight ration of copper to zinc is 63:37 to 59:41. Hot working is performed on the brass or the brass type alloy whose weight ratio of copper to zinc is 63:37 to 59:41, and it is annealed intermediately, and cold working is performed by not less than 75%, and it is annaled at a temperature of 300°C to 320°C.
