Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fancy yarn full of variety by feeding different continuous fiber material to a woolen card machine and forming a sliver composed of a group of different fiber materials having mutually different lengths and randomly arranged in a condenser. CONSTITUTION:Different fiber materials 31 having mutually different lengths are randomly arranged on a yarn formed from a sliver 28 produced by a woolen card machine 1 to produce the objective fancy yarn. When the different fiber materials continuing to a web or raw materials are fed for production thereof, the different fiber materials receive a carding action, a folding action of the web and other actions together with the raw materials. A group of different fiber materials having mutually different lengths are randomly arranged on a sliver formed in a condenser 24 thereby, thus giving the objective fancy yarn full of variety.
