Abstract:
A third axial fluid jet (58) delivering a non-eddy stream, lies in the centre between the two eddy fluid stream jets (56,57) in the walls of the yarn splicing channel (54). The jet from the third point is not fitted with a tangential opening, while the other two jets face each other. Pref. the opening of the third jet (58) lies in the centre of the yarn splicing channel (54). The two eddy jets (56,57), in relation, are located at the same distance from their nearest ends of the yarn splicing channel (54). Pref. the eddy jet (56, 57) openings have a circular cross section, while the opening of the third jet (58) has a flat opening, lying along the longitudinal direction of the yarn splicing channel (54).
