Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a cupped instant Japanese pancake (a thin and flat cake of unsweetened batter fried with bits of vegetables, etc.) distributable through supermarkets for home use or servable for busy Japanese pancake restaurants, by assorting the uncooked raw materials in a manner to achieve a baked pancake having soft texture, and packing the raw materials in a box.

CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of wheat flour mixed with chemical seasonings, dried bonito, salt, sugar, etc. is mixed with 78W65pts.wt. of water and 1.3pts.wt. of baking powder to obtain the compounded wheat flour 3. The wheat flour 3 is placed at the bottom of a container box, short and small pieces of cabbage 4 is placed on the flour layer to form an intermediate layer, and the cabbage layer is topped with meat 5, egg 6, liquid seasoning 7 and a bagged seasoning powder 8 composed of dried bonito, green laver powder, etc. Since all raw materials are packed in the above packed instant pancake, it can be baked conveniently only by mixing the ingredients. It has appetizing appearance suitable for the use at home, busy pancake restaurants, or self-cooking restaurants. Since uncooked raw materials are used as the ingredients, the taste of the restaurant pancake can be enjoyed at home, and a baked food having soft texture can be prepared.
