Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable transaction over the limit of individual bank system by executing transaction after making a customer confirm the name of a bank with which the customer has business relation and connected through a switching network of a communication line. CONSTITUTION:When executing bank dealing using an ATM, the bank code and network connection dial number recorded in a magnetic card possessed by a customer are read by a magnetic card reader/writer (MC) 6. Thus a controlling section 5 recognizes destination of connection, for instance A bank, and makes a line controlling section 11 transmit the dial number. The line controlling section 11 transfers the dial number signal successively to a network controlling device (NCU) 13. The NCU13 send dial pulse to an exchange network 4. When connection is made to the A bank, the NCU13 outputs a connection completion signal to the line controlling section 11. Thus, the line controlling section 11 becomes able to transmit and receive dealing data through a MODEM12. Guidance includes words that displayes the name of th bank transact with, and makes the guest confirm that he transact with A bank.
