Title:
PLURAL ORIFICE INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5816852
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of consumed power by an apparatus wherein when discharging ink, ink projection is first formed at each orifice by an electro- mechanical transducer and then the recording electrode is selected during forming of such ink projection to impart high voltage.

CONSTITUTION: To drive a piezoelectric element 26, a piezoelectric element driving circuit 13 is provided and connected with the piezoelectric element 26 electrically. A recording voltage generator 14 is provided for electrodes 27, 29 and 30. An opposing electrode 15 is provided opposite to orifices 20, 21, 22 and 23 and is grounded. Simultaneously, a negative terminal of a high voltage DC power source is connected to the opposing electrode 15, while a positive terminal of the DC power source is connected to a power source input terminal of the recording voltage generator 14. A recording signal in accordance with a recording pattern is supplied to the recording voltage generator 14, and four output terminals of the recording voltage generator 4 are connected to four input terminals of a terminal 31 for leading out to the outside, respectively.
