PURPOSE: To obtain the electrophotographic sensitive body having excellent mechanical strength and photoconductivity without crystal precipitation and phase sepn. by incorporating a high-polymer compd. having at least one kind of specific constitutional units.

CONSTITUTION: An intermediate layer of about 0.1μm thickness consisting of vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate/maleic acid copolymer is provided on a PET film deposited with Al by evaporation. The dispersion prepd. by grinding about 40g dibromoansanthrone and further adding 20g bisphenol A type polycarbonate which is dissolved thereto is applied on the intermediate layer to form a carrier generating layer of about 0.5μm thickness. In succession, the soln. prepd. by dissolving about 20g high-polymer compd. expressed by structural units I, II, III is applied on the carrier generating layer and is dried for about one hour at about 90°C temp. to form a carrier transfer layer. The sample of the photosensitive body is thus formed.
