PURPOSE: To prevent the image formation corresponding to the incorrect operation of a ten-key by storing the set number of a key for setting the number of sheets in a memory and continuing the image formation irrespectively of the key setting the number of keys in the stage of forming the image by sequence control.
CONSTITUTION: The number of the primary image formation corresponding to the number of copying sheets by a screen drum which is set by a key 107 for setting the number of sheets formed of a ten-key, etc. of a driving circuit in a display is stored in a memory 202 and the image formation is controlled sequentially until the set number of sheets coincides with the number of latent image formation counted by a counter 201. The FF 209 of an inhibition circuit 216 is set according to the operation of the start key in a key group 219, and the Q' output of a low level from the FF 209 passes through an OR gate 222 and closes a gate for outputting of a key 217 so that even if the key 217 is operated the content of the memory 202 does not change and the sequence control continues. An insulation drum for forming a secondary latent image is controlled in the same way, whereby the image formation of a incorrect number by the incorrect operation of the ten-key is prevented.
