Title:
NUCLEAR MAGNETIC REASONANCE APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60190846
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain image information without using a gradient magnetic field, by successively irradiating the object to be measured in a static magnetic field with high frequency pulses from a plurality of transmitting receiving coils through a change-over means and separately taking out NMR signals to store the same.

CONSTITUTION: A coil assembly 3 consisting of transmitting receiving coils L1W L25 arranged in a 5×5 matrix state is arranged so as to be contacted with an object 2 to be measured arranged in the static magnetic field by a magnet 1. High frequency pulses generated through an oscillator 6, a gate 7 and an amplifier 8 are successively supplied to the coils L1WL25 through a change-over switch 9 and FID signals after the irradiation of high frequency pulses are sent to a computer 12 from the coils L1WL25 through a receiving circuit 10 and an AD converter 11 and stored in memory 13. The NMR spectrum obtained by Fourier conversion in the computer 12 is stored in memory 14 while the distribution of spin density obtained from the distribution of peak intensity is stored in memory 15 to be displayed as an image by a display apparatus 16.
