Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to prevent production of negative pressure in a tank, by unloading liquefied gas in the tank while gasifying a part of unloaded liquefied gas and sending it back into the tank. CONSTITUTION:According to the present method of unloading liquefied gas, gas pressure in a tank 2 is kept at a predetermined level by controlling the amount of liquefied gas to be sent to a heat exchanger 12 by means of a means 16 for controlling gas pressure in the tank 2. With such an arrangement, production of negative pressure in the tank 2 at the time of unloading liquefied gas from the tank 2 can be prevented by extracting a part of unloaded liquefied gas through a branch pipe 11, gasifying the same at the heat exchanger 12, and then carrying it back into the tank 2.
