Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the shock resistance of an arm part without increasing weight by a method wherein tension proof members are equipped within the arm part, which serves for fitting the propelling unit to a steering shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The arm part 44 is formed on the upper case 38 of the propelling unit and fitted to the steering shaft 46. The tension proof members 60 such as bolts or the like are equipped within the arm part. Consequently, even in case of the arm part and upper case being made of brittle material or aluminum casting, the arm part 44 resists shock, resulting in preventing the arm part 44 from being cracked. Even if the arm part 44 is broken, the arm part 44 is prevented from being cut-off.
