Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the forming and securing operation of coils by an apparatus wherein a rotary disc provided with a number of pins is used to press the coil wound round the particular pin out of those pins, thereby energize and heat a coil assembly. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus is provided with a rotary disc 8 including two groups 51, 52 of a number of pins arranged on double concentric circles with predetermined pitches, a coil assembly wound round the pin groups and coated with a hot melting material, two clampers 62 for clamping an electromagnetic wire 41 in the beginning and end of the coil assembly to tear off the coatings of the wire at the ends thereof and capable of integral rotation with the rotary disc, a jig 55 for pressing the coil assembly wound around the pin groups against the rotary disc with a predetermined pressure, and energization electrodes coming into contact or apart from those two clampers, respectively. The coil wound round the particular pin out of those many pins is pressed using the winding jig to energize and heat the coil assembly, thereby forming an armature coil for flat motors.
