Title:
METHOD OF STARTING ELECTRONIC CONTROL FUEL INJECTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5848722
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress the fuel consumption and evade fall of the rotation of an engine immediately after starting by controlling a fuel injection valve for starting so that the valve injects the fuel only when it is within a predetermined time after operation of a starting motor and the rotational speed of the engine assumes a valve less than a predetermined value.

CONSTITUTION: A main fuel injection valve 44 is mounted on an inlet pipe 35 in correspondence to each cylinder, and a fuel injection valve 45 for starting is mounted on a surge tank 34. A bypass passage 47 connects a position of the inlet passage upstream of a throttle valve 33 to the surge tank 34, and is opened or closed by a bimetal type opening or closing valve 48. The bypass passage 47 is opened during the warm-up operation. When a starting motor 51 starts operation, as S-terminal of an RS flip-flop 98 assumes a value of "1", whereby a Q-terminal assumes a value of "1". After lapse of a predetermined time, the value of "1" is supplied to an R-terminal through a delay circuit 99, and the Q-terminal assumes the value of "0". An output from an AND circuit 97 is supplied to the fuel injection valve 45 for starting. When the engine rotational speed Ne is less than a predetermined value D, and the starting motor 51 is in operation and before a predetermined time passes from the starting of the operation, the output of the circuit 97 assumes the value of "1", and the valve 45 injects the fuel.
