PURPOSE: To measure both sides of a work by installing an arm in a body free of rotation in the shape of making it retractable to or from the shaft center of a turret, while setting up a connecting means in the arm in the shape of making it connectible to a turning mechanism, and attaching a stylus to the arm.
CONSTITUTION: An arm 23 is installed in a body 21 attached and supported onto each of turret 7a, 9a with a turning mechanism such as a tool turning drive shaft 10 or the like free of rotation in the shape of making it retractable to or from each shaft center CTT of these turrets 7a, 9a, while a connecting means for a turning shaft 22, a pivoting shaft 23, etc., is installed in the arm 23 in the shape of making it connectible to the turning mechanism, and a stylus 25 is attached to the arm 23. Accordingly, with this arm 23 rotated, the stylus 25 is retractable to or form the body 21, namely, a shaft center CTT of the turrets 7a, 9a to which this body 21 is attached. With this constitution, both sides of a work is measurable.
