PURPOSE: To provide an antioxidant for edible oil, capable of adsorbing and removing the oxidation decomposition product from edible oil and preventing the oxidation decomposition of edible oil, and composed of a composition of materials having antioxidation activity.

CONSTITUTION: Materials having antioxidation activity, e.g. zeolite, activated charcoal, alumina, activated earth, silica gel, ion exchange resin, etc. are mixed with each other at arbitrary ratios, formed in an arbitrary form such as granules, particles, rod, plate, or filter membrane, and made to contact with the edible oil.
