Abstract:
PURPOSE:To smooth a picture signal in parallel to picture input by digitizing a picture signals and summing up signals of successive frames speedily by a circuit consisting of an adder, subtracter, and shift register. CONSTITUTION:The analog picture input signal is A/D-converted 1 and outputted, frame by frame, in the order of A1, A2- synchronously with an input scanning signal from a buffering BF part 2. Once receiving the A1, the adder 3 receives the A1 again through the shift register SR4 and subtracter 5 and adds it to the A2 from the BF part 2. Then, the adding part 3 outputs a sum picture signal B1=A1+A2+A3+A4 when receiving the picture input signal A4. When the picture input signal A5 is inputted to the adding part 3, the A1 output from the SR6 for delaying picture signals corresponding to four frames is subtracted from the B1 by the subtracter 5 and the result is added to the A5 by the adding part 3 to output B2=A2+A3+A4+A5. Similarly, when the A6 is inputted, B3= A3+A4+A5+A6 is outputted and thus, the picture signals are smoothed.
