Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute heat insulator exterior work of piping promptly and simply by a method wherein a vinyl chloride resin sheet is wound around the heat insulator of piping to weld the ends of the sheet into each other so that the ends are overlapped.

CONSTITUTION: A vinyl chloride resin sheet that contains preferably 19pts.wt. or less of plasticizer to 100pts.wt. of resin component and usually is 0.1W2.0mm in thickess is wound on the external periphery of the heat insulator of piping so that its ends are overlapped partially and the overlapped parts are welded to each other. Additionally, welding is executed by using solvent, adhesive agent, duplex pressure-sensitive tape, etc. for vinyl chloride group, for example, or by heating or compression fusion, etc.
