PURPOSE: To form a conference system having a sufficient real time by displaying a document on a display to specify the positions of chapters, clauses, etc. in a page simultaneously.

CONSTITUTION: When a scanning line counter 13 starts to operates simultaneously with the start of the scanning of a facsimile and a mark is detected by a mark detector 14, its trigger is informed to the counter 13 and a scanning line No. is transmitted to a control part 18. The trigger is informed to a switch 15 through the control part 18 and only the information between the 1st and 2nd marks is transmitted to an adder 19 through the switch 15. The 1st mark detecting trigger is informed to a code pattern conversion ROM16 and an electronic page No. is converted into a facsimile signal which is applied from the ROM16 to the adder 19. Electronic content information for making the mark information of the No. correspond to the electronic page and coupling the scanning line No. is inputted from the control part 18 to a circuit control part. Consequently, the chapters and clauses in one page can be simultaneously specified.
