Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the bending stress of a riser due to the thermal expansion of a coil by forming the width of a commutator riser for connecting a commutator to an armature coil at the center in a curve to gradually reduce with respect to the longitudinal direction of a coil. CONSTITUTION:A commutator riser 4 is used to connect brazing between an armature coil end 1 and commutator segments 3. The middle portion of the riser 4 is formed in a curve to gradually reduce the middle portion of the riser 4 with respect to the longitudinal direction of the coil. Thus, the expansion force of the direction A due to the thermal expansion of the coil is readily absorbed to decrease the bending stress generated at the riser, thereby enhancing the safety. The curved shape is not limited to the middle of the riser, but even if gradually decreased in one direction, the same effect can be obtained.
