PURPOSE: To make a guide post keep out of the way in time of material handling as well as to avoid narrowing the length of a deck, by mooring a driving force transmission device to the rear gate side after its one end is moored to the inside of a post support while the other end inserted into the guide post, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: A guide post 3 consisting of an outer post 3a and an inner post 3b is erected at both sides of the rear end of a deck 2. A hydraulic cylinder 8 is set up inside a post support 7 coupled in space between outer posts 3a and 3a, while a rear gate 5 is made to go up and down along the guide post 3 by the hydraulic cylinder 8 via a driving force transmission device 10. As this driving force transmission device, a combination of lift chains 21, 21, guide sprocket wheels 23, 24, 25 and a main sprocket wheel 26 are used. According to this method, the wheel 26 is set up in parallel with the wheel 25 inside an upper end of the outer post 3a so that the extension of width size in the outer post 3a is in no case entailed there.
