Abstract:
PURPOSE:To adjust the counting time of a timer means, by constituting the timer means with soft counting of a microcomputer and at the same time providing an adjusting means of a simple constitution consisting of a variable resistor, an A/D converter, etc. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 4 receives an input, etc. from a play button and drives a motor 6 to move a tone arm up to a prescribed position. Then the revolution of the motor 6 is stopped when the tone arm moves up to its desired position. When the shift of the tone arm stops, a plunger 8 is actuated by a plunger driving circuit 7. Then the tone arm moves down to the record surface. A terminal 4b is set at H level with the move-down timing of the tone arm, and a diode 3 becomes nonconductive. As a result, a capacitor 2 is charged via a variable resistance 1. When the potential of a terminal 4a exceeds the threshold voltage, the computer 4 decides that the input is set at H level and has the control to make the tone arm follow the record groove.
