PURPOSE: To enable operation resistance to be continuously reduced by moving a thread scrap catching body to a rear section with the abrasion force of a carpet when a floor nozzle is moved on the carpet of heavy operation resistance, to arrange projections to be separated from main body ribs, and by changing the movement to vertical movement by a second spring.

CONSTITUTION: When a floor nozzle main-body 1 is moved on a carpet, then the surface of a thread scrap catching body 9 comes in contact with the surface of the carpet, and by the force, a thread scrap catching body main-body 10 resists the spring pressure of a first spring 11 and is moved backward. When contact resistance is high, then the first spring 11 is compressed further, and gradually, projections 8 formed on the thread scrap catching body main-body 10 are interrupted from ribs 7 formed on a lower floor nozzle main-body 3, brought in contact with the projections 8, and can be vertically moved via a stabilizing plate 13 in contact with a second spring 12 and as a result, the contact resistance is continuously reduced, and the increment of operation resistance is relieved.
