Title:
PERIPHERAL REGISTRATION CORRECTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS586688
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform registration at a peripheral part by extracting and superposing some components of a saw-tooth wave voltage, synchronizing with deflecting operation, close to a maximum and a minimum value upon a deflecting current as a correction signal, and adjusting the polarity and level of the correction signal.

CONSTITUTION: With horizontal driving pulses from an input terminal 8, a horizontal saw-tooth wave generating circuit 7 generates a saw-tooth wave voltage (a) in one horizontal scanning period 1H and applies it to a horizontal clipping circuit 6. The circuit 6 clips and extract part P1H of the saw-tooth voltage (a) from a maximum value to a prescribed voltage and part P2H of it from a minimum value to a prescribed voltage to extract voltages b1 and b2, which are applied to a horizontal correction voltage amplifying circuit 5. The circuit 5 amplifies them to generate plus and minus voltages ±b1 and ±b2, which are applied to a horizontal peripheral registration adjusting circuit 4. Adjusting circuit, ranging from plus to minus polarities of the voltages ±b1 and ±b2, generates correction signals C1 and C2 whose amplitude is adjusted optionally, and the horizontal deflecting current (d) having those superposed signals is applied to a horizontal deflecting coil 2.
