Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance effectiveness in operations by measuring the distance of the counterweight outside surface from the center of journal part for the purpose of determination of the corrective boring depth, by carrying out the boring operation on the basis of the result obtained, and thereby minimizing the residual unbalance amount because of dimensional error at the unprocessed surface of counter-weight. CONSTITUTION:When a drill 20 comes in contact with the outside surface 11 of a counter-weight 10, a sensing part 3 such as a touch sensor 3 emits an electric signal about commencement of machining. The stationary side of a dynamic balance corrective device 30 is located accurately by reference to the center of the journal part of a boring jig and fixed firmly, and a fixed scale 5 is installed. On the feed table 21 side, a scale read device 4 is installed, and the distance of the outside surface 11 of counter-weight 10 from the center of journal part is measured accurately from a signal given by said sensing part 3 such as touch sensor and a signal given by a sensing part consisting of said scale 5 and scale read device 4, and the result of which is fed into an operational part 2 for correction of the boring depth. Now the boring operation is carried out.
