Abstract:
PURPOSE: The titled recording liquid excellent in recordability, storage stability, etc., prepared by adding a recording agent and additives to a liquid medium and having specified physical properties.
CONSTITUTION: A recording liquid prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. liquid medium (e.g., alcohol, hydrocarbon solvent or ketone solvent) with about 0.1W10pts.wt. recording agent (e.g., dye or pigment of a particle diameter of about 0.00001W 30μ) and additives (e.g., wetting agent, surface tention modifier, viscosity modifier and infrared absorbing heat generator) and having a specific heat of 0.1W 4J/gh, a coefficient of thermal expansion of 0.1×10-3W1.8×10-3deg-1, and a thermal conductivity of 0.1×10-3W50×10-3W/cm.deg.
