PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. having excellent coatability, processability, and excellent resistance to impact and heat, by adding a small quantity of a polyamide resin to a specified graft copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin compsn. consists of 95W99.9wt% polymer (A) obtd. by graft-polymerizing a monomer mixture consisting of an arom. vinyl compd. (e.g. styrene) and a vinyl cyanide (e.g. acrylonitrile) or said arom. vinyl compd., said vinyl cyanide and an alkyl ester of unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g. methyl methacrylate) onto a chlorinated polyethylene and 0.1W5wt% polyamide resin (B) (e.g. nylon 66). Though most of conventional thermoplastic resin moldings suffer failure in coating, i.e., they tend to cause stress cracking, the resin compsn. of the present invention has excellent coatability, does not suffer stress cracking and is excellent in processability and resistance to impact and heat.
