PURPOSE: To facilitate preparations for changing the dividing size by separately disposing small touch rolls corresponding to sheet rolls and disposing support frames for the rolls under remote-centralized control in a distribution-type sheet dividing and winding apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: A wide sheet S is divided into plural strips, and the divided sheets S3 are distributed backward and forward. A winding apparatus is adapted to divide a wide sheet S into plural strips, distribute the divided sheets Sa forward and backward and wind the sheets individually. The winding apparatus includes a mechanism for engaging and disengaging each solenoid clutch of winding supports 1, a positioning mechanism pierced therethrough and support rods 3, 4 for detachably supporting the respective end portions of shafts of the front and rear touch rolls 2 mounted along take-up shafts C. The support shafts 3, 4 are respectively provided with a mechanism for engaging and disengaging a solenoid clutch, and the front side common positioning screw rod 5 is pierced through a mechanism for engaging and disengaging all support frames on the front side, the back side common positioning screw rod 5 being pierced through a mechanism for engaging and disengaging all support frames on the back side. Accordingly, the respective support frames 3, 4 are disposed along the lateral direction of a belt-like sheet and capable of moving on a guide base 15 supporting the distributed front side and back side sheets each.
