Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the stress concentration from generating in a leaf spring and consequently improve durability by a structure wherein plate members, the elastic modulus of which is lower than that of iron, is interposed between the leaf springs and an iron pad in a coupling part of fiber reinforced resin leaf springs and an axle. CONSTITUTION:Plate members 6 consisting of a material, the elastic modulus of which is lower than that of iron, such as aluminum plate or the like is interposed between fiber reinforced resin leaf springs 2 and the iron pad 3. Due to the structure as mentioned above, because no abrupt change of elastic modulus between the respective members lying in the course from the iron pad 3 or the axle 5 to the fiber reinforced resin leaf springs 2 is resulted, no stress concentration generated on the surface of said leaf springs 2, resulting in improving the durability of the leaf springs 2.
