Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease a pressure drop of steam and control a large flow of the steam, by providing plural nozzle chambers to the full periphery of an extraction turbine and extraction control valves, equipping a valve seat at a right angle with a turbine shaft, to each nozzle chamber. CONSTITUTION:An extraction partitioning plate 30 equipping low pressure side initial stage nozzles 38 is provided in a casing 2 of an extraction turbine, and nozzle chambers 41 plurally divided in the peripheral direction are formed to the upstream side of the plate 30. Valve seats 29 of extraction control valves 36 are arranged at a right angle with a shaft core of the turbine in the upstream side of the nozzle chambers 41, and valve main units 36 corresponding to the seats 29 are provided. A control valve chamber 40 and a steam flow inlet 39 are provided to the upstream side of the extraction control valve 36. As the nozzle chambers are provided to almost the full periphery of the turbine, a large flow of steam can be controlled, and the valve seat 29 of the extraction control valve 36, being vertically provided to the turbine shaft, can eliminate the necessity for forming the casing to large size.
