PURPOSE: To elevate the dimension accuracy of a worked product, by installing a distance measuring sensor to a working tool, and controlling a position of a roll serving as a working tool, to a proper position by said sensor, when executing contour spinning working.
CONSTITUTION: Contour spinning working is executed by pinch-holding a work 3 between a mandrel 1 and a tail stock 2, rotating it, shearing and deforming the work 3 by a roller 4 serving as a working tool, and push-extending it. In this case, a distance to the work 3 perpendicular to an unworked mandrel shaft is measured by a distance measuring sensor 8 installed to a supporting shaft 5 of the roller 4, and a measured value is inputted to a deciding and operation device 9, and is compared with its allowable range. When it has deviated from this range, a locus data of the roller 4 is operated so that it becomes a prescribed constant distance S, its data is inputted to an NC controller 7, a double spindle table 6 is driven, and the work 3 is worked by the roller 4, by which no wrinkle nor breakage is generated on a product, and its dimension accuracy is elevated.
