PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight and inexpensive feeder by installing a scooping plate in which washers are scooped by a groove having a nearly equal depth to the thickness of the washer and a chute having a similar groove to that on the scooping plate and a prescribed tilt angle and only by rolling said washers.

CONSTITUTION: A scooping plate 6 is fixed onto a swing rod 8 which swings, having a shaft 7 as center, and rises and lowers in the guide groove 10a on a semicircular plate 10 in a hopper 9. A groove 11 having a nearly equal depth to the thickness of a washer is formed on the inclined surface, which is installed at the upper edge of the scooping plate 6. A chute has a groove 12a having a depth nearly equal to the thickness of the washer and is fixed onto the semicircular plate 10 at a prescribed angle. A gate 13 is fixed onto a slidable plate 16 which slides along a guide 15 installed on a regulation plate 14 adjustably fixed on the chute 12. The washers in the hopper 9 are scooped in a line by the groove 11, as the scooping plate 16 rises, and are rolled in the groove 11 and introduced into the chute 12.
