PURPOSE: To efficiently store a rewound wire rope formed as a bundle by connecting a driving gear to one catch plate through a clutch or a brake band, enabling the other catch plate to right/left move by a moving carriage, and setting up a wire rope guide device on a rewinding side base bed.

CONSTITUTION: Winding barrel both ends are rotatably supported to a supporting center 6 and a protrusion 8 by a pair of catch plates 4a, 4b formed of discs by providing long and thin grooves 5 suitably in several parts in the periphery, protrusively providing the supporting center 6 in the center and protrusively providing the protrusions 8 suitably in several parts in an equal side to the supporting center 6. Constitution is provided such as connecting a driving gear 15 to the one catch plate 4a through engaging/disengaging a clutch or action of a brake band 27 and providing a wire rope guide device 45 in a winding side of the catch plates 4a, 4b while enabling a moving carriage 12, provided with a pulley 13, to move the other catch plate 4b in a direction of the axial center.
