Title:
AUTOMATED "KASHIWAMOCHI" MAKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59132859
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: In a KASHIWAMOCHI (a rice cake stuffed with sweet bean jam and wrapped in an oak leaf. It is traditionally made on "Children's Day")-making machine, a couple of rotors equipped with leaf-wrapping plates which have their supported points on the periphery of the rotors and can freely rotate according to the guide plates are set oppositely to rotate inward each other and the rotation of the rotors is synchronized with the rotation of the wrapping plates to avoid sticking of the rice cake to the machine.

CONSTITUTION: The pasta piece to wrap the bean jam 9 is sent with conveyor belt 8 and put astride on both wrapping plates 4, 4' in the horizontal state and the bean jam 14 is fed from the injector 13 on the center of the pasta. Then, the wrapping plates revolve synchronously with the rotation of the rotors 2, 2' to fold the pasta 9. When the rotors 2, 2' rotate 90° around their centers, the rice cake stuffed with bean jam is formed, susequently, the following couple of wrapping plates 4, 4' come to the position where the pasta and bean jam are fed in the horizontal state. The formed KASHIWAMOCHI 16 goes down as held with plates 4, 4' and released onto the conveyor belt 15. Thus, automated making of KASHIWAMOCHI is ensured.
