PURPOSE: To obtain a quality tire efficiently with reproducibility of working by automatically controlling tools and drums based on the operation of the tools and the revolutions and rotating direction of the drums by manual operation previously detected and memorized.

CONSTITUTION: According to commands of manual operation command apparatuses 90a and 90b, working of a stitcher tool 60a and a drum 60b is controlled to mold a tire. The working of the stitcher tool is detected with a position detector 70a while the revolutions and/or the rotational direction involved of the drum are detected with a rotation detector 70b and the results are all fed back to be memorized into a memory device 100. Thereafter, if operation is turned to the automatic position with a changeover switch and a start button is depressed, the stitcher tool and the drum are automatically controlled to perform the same operation as previously with a signal from the memory unit 100.
