Abstract:
PURPOSE:To take a countermeasure to rainfall even when equipment is put in the open air, etc., by detecting humidity and then generating a warning of rainfall according to the detected humidity value. CONSTITUTION:The humidity detecting circuit 9 of a humidity sensing device 2 uses ceramic humidity sensor '' Humiceum'' 8 as a temperature sensor, and an analog value of humidity outputted from the humidity detecting circuit 9 is converted by an A/D converter 10 into a digital signal, which is sent out to a cpu6. The cpu6 calculates the probability of rainfall from humidity data read periodically and its variation and when the calculated value exceeds some reference value, a signal is outputted to a warning device 7. Then a buzzer, etc., is used to give a warning of rainfall to the owner of the equipment.
