Title:
MULTI-FREQUENCY SIGNAL GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60139093
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decrease the number of oscillators and to attain miniaturization of a generator of multi-frequency signal by combining a digital signal generator with a circuit which corrects the phase of each digital signal and minimizes the synthetic peak value of amplitude and therefore producing digital signals by the time division processing.

CONSTITUTION: A constant K corresponding to a generated frequency and the output of a register 2 are supplied to a multi-frequency signal generator 1 to be added together there. This processing result is supplied again to the register 2 and also to an adder 3 for addition with the phase corrected value of the register 4. This value of addition is used as an address to read the contents of a ROM5, and these contents are converted into an analog form by a D/A converter 6 and interpolated by an LPF7. Thus a multi-frequency analog signal is delivered. The correction value with which the peak value of the synthetic amplitude is minimized is stored previously to an address of the register 4. Then the digital value obtained by dividing a sine wave equally into (n) parts is stored to the ROM5. Thus the time division processing is possible.
