PURPOSE: To obtain always a correct exposure by storing the time, which is obtained by adding a delay time and the time from start of sector movement to output of an inverting signal, as data in an ROM preliminarily and comparing this time with an operated time and triggering a strobe at the earlier time.
CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether the strobe should be used or not; and if the strobe should be used, time data of light emission of the strobe is set to a timer, and the operation is started. Set data is accessed from a D-ROM116 on a basis of the operation result, and the D-ROM116 is divided to 4 blocks. Information related to the exposure is written in a block (a), and time information for generation of the timing when the strobe is triggered is written in a block (b). A block (d) is used for converting the sequence code of distance obtained from an auto-focusing circuit to an operation code. With respect to "forward rotation pulse output" and following "reverse rotation pulse output", pulses having a certain time width are outputted in accordance with a number NS of steps.
