Title:
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE TESTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5827039
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively remove dissolved oxygen in water under a hydraulic test, by mounting a filling tower, filled with activated charcoal, to an outlet side of a water filling pump and a pressurizing pump in a hydraulic pressure tester.

CONSTITUTION: Hydraulic pressure testing water 2, which contains dissolved oxygen and is stored in a tank 1, is fed to an activated charcoal filling tower 21, installed to a bypath line 20, through a piping 3, a water feed valve 5a, a water feed pipe 6, and a valve 21a by a water filling pump 4. A boiler body 13, a deairing device 14 and a reheating device 15 are filled with the hydraulic pressure testing water, freed of dissolved oxygen, through a valve 21b. The hydraulic pressure testing water 12 is drained through an outlet valve 10 for a boiler body, an outlet valve 11 for a deairing device, and an outlet valve 12 for a reheating device to the outside of a system going to the extent of the reduction in a dissolved oxygen concentration. After the outlet valves 10W12 are closed, the water filling pump 4 stops running, and the testing water 2 is fed to the tower 21 via a bypass valve 17, a bypass pipe 16, and the valve 21a by a pressurizing pump 18, the water is increased in the pressure by the pressurizing pump 18 via the valve 21b to perform a hydraulic pressure test. This causes dissolved oxygen in the testing water 2 to be effectively removed.
