Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a transfer valve by providing four ports and a rotatable valve shaft in a case so that passages due to different combinations of two ports respectively are formed in accordance with the rotation of the valve shaft. CONSTITUTION:A valve chest 3 with a circular cross section is formed in a case 1, and a valve shaft 4 with an oval plate-like valve body 6 is inserted into a cover body 2 blocking the valve chest 3 and a lever 8 is also fitted to the end of the valve shaft 4. Ports 1a, 1b and ports 1c, 1d are provided on the upper portion of the outer wall and on the side of the case 1 respectively. When the lever 8 is turned to one rotating end of the valve shaft 4, the position of the valve body 6 is moved and the ports 1a, 1d and the ports 1b, 1c are connected to each other so as to form two passages. Next, when the lever 8 is turned to the other rotating end of the valve shaft 4, the position of the valve body 6 is moved and the ports 1a, 1c and the ports 1b, 1d are connected to each other so as to form different two passages. Accordingly, a four-way or three-way transfer valve can be simply constituted.
