Title:
ADHESIVE FOR METAL AND POLAR PLASTICS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5811572
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: The titled novel adhesive comprising dihalocyclopropane rubber etc., providing a molded article having high dimension accuracy, by applying the adhesive to the metal surface, injection molding a molten polar plastic on the suface, molding the plastic and simultaneously bonding it to the metal firmly.

CONSTITUTION: The desired adhesive comprising dihalocyclopropane rubber (preferably the halogen is chlorine and the base polymer is polybutadiene, natural rubber, etc.) alone or its blened with isocyanate (preferably a blending ratio is 1/0W1/1). This adhesive, for example, is dissolved in a solvent such as THF, etc. to give 1W15wt% solution, which is applied to the surface of a processed metal to form an adhesive layer, and the metal is integrated into a mold, etc. A molten polar plastic such as polyamide, polyester, etc. is molded by injection molding, extrusion molding, etc. and the plastic is simultaneously bonded to the metal.

EFFECT: Since a plastic part is not molded previously, a precise composite structure with complicated shape can be obtained.
