PURPOSE: To enhance coating efficiency and utilization efficiency of coating by providing an aspirator whose suction port is communicated with the outside air to the peripheral edge part of the aperture part of a booth and forming an air-contg. seeling zone to the aperture part.
CONSTITUTION: When a bag filter 4 is driven so that the air pressure of an inlet 2 and an outlet 3 is regulated to the same pressure, the air 20 of the outside of a booth 1 receives straightening action due to the external straightening plates 33 and is sucked into the inside of the booth 1 from the inlet 2 and the outlet 3. Thereafter this air is discharged to the outside of the booth 1 from the exhaust port 4b of the filter 4. Air-contg. sealing zones are formed to the aperture parts of the inlet 2 and the outlet 3. An electrostatic coating gun 23 is inserted into the booth from the gun slit 2 of the sealed booth 1 and opposed to a work 24 and charged powder 25 is discharged from the gun 23. The charged powder 25 discharged from the gun 23 is attracted to the work 24 by Coulomb force and this work 24 is efficiently coated therewith. Further the over-sprayed coating 26 is forcedly collected to the deposition part 7 of falling coating. Thereby coating efficiency is enhanced.
