PURPOSE: To carry out coating freely in the periphery of a back side section of a closing body by changing the support from a striker section to a back face section except the striker section of the closing body by means of a back face supporting section after the completion of opening of the closing body by means of a striker supporting section and supporting the closing body.

CONSTITUTION: A closing means provided with two supporting sections consisting of a striker supporting section 13 for supporting a striker section 16 of a closing body such as a bonnet hood 15 of a vehicle and a back face supporting section for opening the closing body by holding up the striker supporting section 13 and also supporting a back face section 14 of the opened closing body is used. The support is changed from the striker section 16 to the back face section except the striker section 16 of the closing body by the back face supporting section 14 after the completion of opening the closing body by means of the striker supporting section 13 and coating is applied to the periphery of back face section of the closing body. As a result, coating for the surface and back face of the closing body can be applied freely and also the coating for the neighborhood of the striker section can be applied without patching.
