PURPOSE: To obtain a flashing device enabled to flash continuously in case of detecting a motor driven device is fitted to a camera.
CONSTITUTION: A signal for turning on/off having a synchronous contact Sx built in a camera is supplied to an input terminal (g) of a control circuit 3. A signal for turning on/off a MD turning switch S2 is supplied to an input terminal (h) of the control circuit 3. The switch S2 is turned on when a motor driven device is attached to the camera to attain continuous photographing. The control circuit 3 emits trigger pulses to output terminals (c), (d) synchronously with the turning on of the synchronous contact Sx. When the switch S2 is on, the control circuit 3 outputs the 1st pulse after passing a prescribed time from the turning on of the synchronous contact Sx. Said prescribed time is varied in proprotion to the frame speed of the motor driven device. In addition, the control circuit 3 outputs photometric pulses to a terminal 1 during a prescribed period corresponding to the maximum flashing time of a speed light synchronously with the turning on of the synchronous contact Sx.
