Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify such work as gas cutting and carbon dioxide gas welding, by opening and closing several valves in a prescribed work sequence to supply or stop several kinds of fluids. CONSTITUTION:When a sliding rod is caused to slide by turning a lever 19 to a position X, the heads of three operating rods are fitted in annular grooves so that valve elements 4 are closed on valve seats. When the lever 19 is displaced to a position Y, the valve elements 4 are opened from the two upper valve seats. When the lever 19 is displaced to a position Z, the valve elements 4 are opened from the lowermost valve seat as well as the upper seats. After prescribed work, triggers 22, 22' are brought into contact with stoppers 23, 23' to disengage a spring 20 out of an annular groove 15 to cause the sliding rod to instantaneously slide by the elastic force of a spring 11. As a result, all fluids are shut off.
