PURPOSE: To connect several speakers in good order and to improve the directivity, by tilting both top and bottom surfaces of a speaker cabinet so that these two surfaces get closer to each other toward the rear edge of the cabinet.
CONSTITUTION: Both top surface 4a and bottom surface 4b are tilted so that they cross each other with 45° at their extended rear edges. A woofer 5 is attached to a baffle surface 4c, and a sub-baffle plate 6 is also attached rotatably to the surface 4c. A squawker 7 and tweeter 8 are attached to the plate 6. Therefore the locations are changed for the squawker 7 having intensive directivity and the tweeter 8 by turning the plate 6. Thus the desired characteristics can be simply obtained. Then the surface 4b of a speaker cabinet 4 is set on a floor, a desk 9, etc. as shown in the figure so that the radiating axis of the sound wave formes 22.5° to the surface 9. Thus the sound wave is transmitted directly to a listener.
