PURPOSE: To prevent double transfer and to enhance image quality by providing a baffle between a paper guide and a photosensitive drum and preventing the end of the paper from abruptly colliding with the surface of the drum.

CONSTITUTION: A metallic support plate 22 is fixed to the underside of a toner receiving tray 21 with a long hole 23 and a control screw so as to optionally adjust the position. The tray 21 is arranged below a developing device 2 to recover the toner leaking therefrom. A thin elastic baffle 25 made of a polyethylene terephthalate film or the like is fixed to the end of the plate 22, located between the paper guides 10, 11 and a photosensitive drum 1, and pressed in contact with the ends of the guides 10, 11 with its own elasticity in a proper pressing force. The end of the baffle 25 protrudes till the part of the rear guide 11 approaching nearest to the surface of the drum 1, and the width of the baffle 25 is smaller than that of the usual plain paper.
